Matthew earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Business Administration from Penn State University in 2005. In his current position as a Wealth Advisor, he pursued further education. Carroll demonstrates his dedication to his clients by maintaining several highly sought-after licenses and certifications, including the FINRA SIE/Series 6 license, FINRA Series 7 license, and NASAA Series 66 license.

 

Since Matthew was a college student, he has amassed an impressive list of accomplishments. His baseball scholarship allowed him to attend the University of Maryland, College Park. Later, he transferred to Pennsylvania State University, where he played Division 1 basketball for four years. He captained the team his senior year and earned four varsity letters. Additionally, Carroll received numerous academic awards and scholarships. Carroll participated in the Major League Baseball Scouting Bureau Scout School in 2006, graduating first in his class.

 

Matthew is incredibly proud of two achievements he has accomplished while working in major league baseball. In 2006, he was a member of the Cardinals' administrative staff when they won the World Series. Carroll left St. Louis in 2010 and joined the Atlanta Braves as the Special Assistant to General Manager. Carroll was the youngest to hold this title in Major League Baseball.

 

Carroll is pleased with his charitable contributions to the community. He regularly donates his time, skills, and resources to causes near and dear to his heart. Two of his favorite causes are the Tony LaRussa Animal Rescue Foundation and the annual Phillies Phestival for ALS. In addition, he helped organize a 5k event to benefit ovarian cancer research.

 

Matthew Carroll St. Louis Cardinals is committed to his clients but occasionally enjoys a break. Outside work, Carroll wants to spend quality time with his wife, Ali, and son, Colin, at their Flourtown, Pennsylvania, residence. He loves to fish and snow ski when he finds a few extra hours. Vacations often involve trips to the beach with friends and family. Carroll loves to stay active and busy in his professional and personal life.
